Police Get New Powers to Tackle Problem Pubs and Underage Drinkers

New police powers to tackle 'problem premises' and underage drinking have now come into force, taking effect from January 29th.
The changes to the Policing and Crime Bill mean that councils will now be able to withdraw licenses from problem premises without having to wait for residents to make a complaint.
Chef Gary Rhodes to Rally MPs and Lords in Parliamentary Pancake Race Spectacular

Disability charity Rehab, has revealed that renowned chef, Gary Rhodes, is to take on the coveted mantle of Official Starter of the Rehab Parliamentary Pancake Race on February 9th in Victoria Tower Gardens, Westminster, London.
The event, sponsored by British Lion eggs, is taking place as an advance celebration of Shrove Tuesday.
