Hotel Group Seeks Voluntary Hotel Inspectors

Marriott hotels in Britain are looking to employ six voluntary hotel inspectors from the general public.
The company hopes that the so called “OHotel” Inspectors will help to keep their 41 UK hotels, which have recently undergone a £120m revamp, in tip top shape.
A panel of independent hoteliers, including TV’s Ruth Watson from the series The Hotel Inspector and Channel 4’s Country House Rescue, chose the successful inspectors who were notified a the end of last month.
High Court Appeal Win on Music Fees

Pubs, hotels and restaurants across Britain will now receive up £20 million in refunds following today’s High Court ruling rejecting an appeal brought by the music collection agency PPL (Phonographic Performance Ltd) over the charges for the playing of music in pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels.
