More than half of small businesses surveyed by the FSB-ICM January survey panel say UK taxes have prevented them from taking on more staff, as recent employment statistics revealed that unemployment rose by 23,000.
Survey Reveals Imbalance Between Male and Female Chefs

A survey of 7,000 chefs has revealed major gender imbalances within the various sectors of the hospitality trade.
Male chefs dominate the restaurant and hotel restaurant sector; according to the survey 77 per cent of restaurant chefs were male with only 19 per cent of chefs working in the hotel restaurant sector being female.
