South of England and Wales, with a distribution that actually exceeds
the coverage afforded by some "national" titles.
The distribution (100% direct mail), of the Caterer, Licensee
& Hotelier, has been devised over a period of time by
catering personnel to bring the latest industry news and features
to over 20,000 readers in:
• HOTELS, RESTAURANTS & LICENSED ESTABLISHMENTS
• BREWERY GROUP HEAD OFFICES, INDEPENDENT PUBS, WORKING MENS
CLUBS / ASSOCIATIONS & NIGHT CLUBS
• MEDIUM TO LARGE HOTELS INCLUDING HEAD OFFICES
• LOCAL AUTHORITIES, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES
• CATERING EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS/DISTRIBUTORS & MANUFACTURERS

Minimum Pricing on Alcohol Would Save Lives and Cut Health Costs
05 Oct 2009
A minimum level of 40p per unit could lead to around 70 fewer alcohol-related deaths in its first year, as well as reduce crime, absence from work, and improve overall quality of life, academics at Sheffield University found. Ten years on, the study suggests, the policy could save the health service £160m and lead to approximately 370 fewer deaths a year. The report, published last month will be welcomed by Scottish ministers, adding weight to a proposal that is expected to form a significant part of the SNP's forthcoming Alcohol Bill.
UK Hotels To Start Healing Process Late 2010
